Fit decides everything
Across the line, seat widths run roughly 20 to 26 inches, seat heights vary by model, and each chair publishes a suggested user height range. Capacities run 375 pounds standard and 500 pounds on the heavy-duty build. The right chair is the one matched to the body that will sit in it — which is why we fit in person.
Two kinds of lift chair
3-position chairs lift, sit, and recline for napping — one motor, simpler, less expensive. Infinite-position chairs use two motors so the back and footrest move independently, letting you find flat, zero-gravity-style, or anything between. Several models add heat and massage; the MM3975 adds a power headrest and lumbar with 3-zone heat. Every chair has an integrated battery backup, so a power outage never traps you in the chair.

What people ask about lift chairs
What is the difference between a 3-position and an infinite-position lift chair?
A 3-position chair lifts you to standing, sits upright, and reclines partway for napping — one motor does all three. An infinite-position chair uses two motors so the backrest and footrest move independently, which means a nearly flat sleeping position, a zero-gravity-style position, and everything between. If someone will spend hours a day in the chair, infinite position is usually worth it.
Will Medicare pay for a lift chair?
Partly. Medicare Part B covers only the seat-lift mechanism — roughly a 300 dollar allowance depending on region, at 80 percent after your deductible — and only when a doctor certifies medical necessity on form CMS-849. The chair itself, including the frame, upholstery, and any heat or massage features, is not covered. Plan on Medicare reducing the price a little, not paying for the chair.
How do I know what size lift chair I need?
Match three numbers to the person: seat width (these run about 20 to 26 inches across the line), seat height against their lower leg, and weight capacity (375 pounds standard, 500 on the heavy-duty build). Each model also publishes a suggested user height range. Bring the person the chair is for — or their measurements — and we will do the fit in the showroom in about twenty minutes.
Do you deliver and set up lift chairs?
Yes. White-glove delivery — in the room, assembled, tested, packaging removed — is a 199 dollar service, free within 60 miles when you order online or mention this offer in our showroom. Most models ship from Florida warehouse stock, so delivery is days, not weeks.
What if the chair turns out to be the wrong fit?
Every lift chair we sell carries our Right-Fit Promise: when we do the fit consult before purchase, and the fit is still wrong within 14 days, the first exchange is on us. Exchange only, chair clean and undamaged; exchanging to a lower-priced chair does not refund the difference. Full details are in our Returns and Exchanges policy.

Mega Motion covers these chairs with a two-year warranty on parts and service, and if the motor or mechanism fails under warranty you call us, not a factory 800 number. We coordinate the repair.
