A lot of coastal-look furniture is a photograph of wood glued to particle board, and it dies the first time Florida humidity gets into it. Cottage Creek is the other kind: hardwood you can sand and refinish twenty years from now, with finishes done by hand so no two pieces read exactly alike. That is why it holds a bedroom on my floor.
